This blogging thing is new to me. I need to figure out a way to do it every week or every day. So.... sorry for not posting more.

I've been feeling a little funky. See I'm 35 and have no kids. Which... I'm not sorry about. I always thought I'd be a mom but sometimes life turns out different than expected. Well, always it turns out different. But its okay. Most of the time I'm very happy with this choice. But lately, I feel a little bored. That's the only word I can think of to sum it up, bored.

So, this weekend I made it my goal to do some new fun different things. See I'm also alone on the weekends as the hubby, we'll call him ATrain, works weekends. He's a wild land fire fighter so I actually am alone often.

Sunday I took off to the beach. We live about 30 min from Malibu/Zuma. Oh it was great. Made myself go for a run/walk. I think that was actually just what I needed. Move my body but do it in a beautiful location.

Ahh..... feeling rejuvenated and so much better. Sometimes it's great to take a break. Oh Balls... I forgot to take a picture to share. Sorry!

Also made an amazing protein shake for my afternoon snack. Here it is for you....

Pineapple Banana Shake

1/2 cup coconut milk
2 pineapple slices
1/2 frozen very ripe banana
1 Tbs vanilla whey powder
1 Tsp vanilla extract
some ice

Add all ingredients to a blender (or Magic Bullet) and blend the crap out of it. 

Holy cow (no cow though) it was good!!! Nice for after a beach day
